John Gilham – Director
John Gilham is a seasoned leader in the electrical contracting industry, with decades of hands-on experience guiding complex commercial and industrial projects to successful completion. As a founding director of Longford Woods Pty Ltd—the parent company of Warranknox Electrical—John has played a central role in the company’s expansion since its establishment in 1975. His expertise spans project management, team leadership, and strategic business development. Known for his integrity and pragmatic approach, John has overseen numerous high-profile builds across Victoria and helped establish Warranknox Geelong as a key regional presence. His leadership has earned him respect across the construction and engineering sectors.
Grant Mahony – Chief Financial Officer
Our Chief Financial officer, Grant Mahony is a seasoned CFO with more than 25 years of experience. Holding a CPA qualification, he is renowned for his proactive, forward-thinking approach to financial management, focusing on strategic planning and value creation rather than merely reporting historical data. Grant's extensive career encompasses leadership roles across various sectors, including construction, packaging, and utilities. Grant leads the Administration team of over 60 years combined service for WKE, consistently delivering exceptional financial management and strategic support, contributing to the company's sustained success.
Michael Dal Pozzo – Senior Estimator
Michael Dal Pozzo is a highly experienced senior estimator, well regarded for his technical acumen and thorough approach to pre-construction planning. With a background in electrical systems and a career spanning more than 30 years in the commercial construction industry, Michael has led the estimating process on major projects involving electrical infrastructure, telecommunications cabling systems, fire detection / EWIS and integrated building technologies. His ability to interpret complex specifications and develop accurate, competitive quotes makes him an invaluable asset to Warranknox’s bidding and project planning teams. Michael is known for his professionalism, collaborative mindset, and commitment to quality outcomes.
Dave Collins – Estimator
Dave Collins brings over a decade of practical electrical and estimating experience to his role at Warranknox Electrical. With a deep understanding of both onsite installation requirements and the technical nuances of tender preparation, Dave excels at providing accurate, cost-effective solutions for large-scale electrical projects. He has worked on a wide range of commercial developments across Victoria and Queensland, combining attention to detail with strong communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering plans and execution. His experience allows him to anticipate challenges before they arise, helping clients stay on budget and on schedule.
Sebastian Green – Senior Project Manager
Sebastian Green began his journey with Warranknox Electrical over 20 years ago, completing his electrical apprenticeship and working in the field before moving into a senior management role. With a deep understanding of electrical systems, Sebastian leads complex projects with technical expertise and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
James Tsigaris – Project Manager
James Tsigaris started his career on the tools as a leading hand in Warranknox’s project division a decade ago. Since then, his dedication and technical ability have seen him rise to the role of Project Manager. With 20 years industry experience James is known for his hands-on experience and strong technical understanding, James effectively bridges field knowledge with project leadership.
Ashley Baranyay – Senior Contracts Administrator
With over a decade at Warranknox and nearly 20 years of administration experience, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge in business operations and project coordination. Having completed formal studies in business and project management, she plays a key role in contract execution and overall project administration, ensuring the smooth delivery of client outcomes.
Anna Marciniak – Payroll Specialist
Anna Marciniak is an experienced Payroll Specialist at Warranknox Electrical, overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for the company. With over 20 years at the company, she ensures accurate and timely employee payments while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations. Anna is known for her organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and her commitment to maintaining confidentiality with all payroll-related matters. Anna also supports the Administration team with tasks such as credit card allocation, job set-ups in the accounting system, and assisting other departments. Her dedication and expertise in payroll systems make her an invaluable asset to the company.
Susan Bloom – Accounts Specialist
Sue Bloom has been the Senior Accounts Officer at Warranknox Electrical for over 20 years, managing financial transactions and ensuring the timely processing of customer and supplier invoices. With a strong background in accounting, she ensures the company’s financial records are accurate and compliant. Sue is responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including client invoicing and reconciliations , accounts payable reconciliations, debtor Insurances and various administrative tasks. Her attention to detail and organisational skills are key to maintaining smooth operations. She collaborates closely with departments, particularly Project Managers, to resolve discrepancies and uses her expertise in accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
